Reason:

I'm doing the Rally because of two words: Peer pressure. For whatever reason, the Bee wouldn’t accept denial. Other reasons include the opportunity to set a high water mark in my life for length of a road trip with guys I hardly know; because it is an undeniable expansion of my otherwise narrow comfort zone; and because of the Mongolian goat's milk, which I understand is quite delightful. As Bryan said to me, the Mongol Rally represents a chance to disrupt the routine flow of time with an adventure that you usually only read about.

Bryan Miller

Bryan is an adventurous soul who is afflicted with an insatiable curiosity and a severe wanderlust. This yearning for travel and adventure has led Bryan from coast to coast, as well as throughout Asia, North Africa and Europe.

Bryan graduated from the University of Utah with a double major in Asian Studies and English, with an emphasis in film. Bryan entered the University of Utah's MBA program (against his father's advice), and ended up dropping out in order to launch Miller Motorsports Park, where he has been anxiously engaged since early 2005.

Bryan enjoys games of any kind, motorcycling, watching films, words and writing (his screenplay is currently stuck in act two). Bryan recently created a "life list" which includes finishing that screenplay, completing the 2009 Mongol Rally, and owning a California GT Ferrari sooner rather than later.

Bryan is married to a saint named Heather who bakes chocolate chip cookies justlike his mother's. Heather produces beautiful babies, and Bryan is enjoying raising two of them with her- Elizabeth and Leo.

Reason:

I want to do the Mongol Rally because I have an insatiable wanderlust and an intense curiosity. I often dream of distant lands and the strange roads that lead there.

I'm never happier than when I'm exploring unfamiliar territory, and I love to see how people live outside of America- what they eat, what they wear, and how they live work and play. I love the smells and sounds of foreign lands.
